WHY DO WE HAVE THESE BIRDS?
All of our education birds are not releasable. They are permanenly injured and require continued care throughout their lives. Your donation will provide our education raptors with a quality diet, equipment, housing, and help cover necessary medical expenses.

HOW DOES THE ADOPT-A-RAPTOR PROGRAM WORK?
When you sponsor one of our educational raptors, you are providing a donation that will be used exclusively for the care of our birds. you or your gift recipient will receive a card notifying him or her of the generous gift in their name, certificate, a description of thie birds history, any biological information, and a picture of your adopted bird.

BENEFITS

> All Adopters will receive an adoption certificate plus a 5 x 7 color picture and an information sheet on their adopted RCV bird.

> Adopters at the $200 level and up will receive the above benefits plus notification of an occasion when their adopted RCV raptor will be out in public so you can meet the bird. (Sorry, we are not in a position to give tours of the RCV facilities at this time).

> Adopters at the $400 level and above, in addition, will receive notification of an occasion when a raptor release by RCV volunteers will occur -- so they may have the opportunity to see a bird go back to the wild! (please note releases may not be in Northern Virginia).
Please allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.
